EAMS 5/6 Data Walls

Teachers in the EAMS 5/6 building have begun using data walls in their team rooms.  The data walls provide a visual representation of the math and reading progress that students are making throughout the school year.  Teachers utilize the data walls to pinpoint students who would benefit from additional small group instruction. Using a chart format, an index card for each student is placed and moved across proficiency levels according to the data following each of the 4Sight tests.  The 4Sight Benchmark Assessment has proven to be a good predictor of achievement on the PSSA Test.
